Isn't it ironic how Christian conservatives are against centralized government but support "millennial rule"?

When Jesus ever returns, they believe he will institute a millennial rule throughout the world by force. Basically, a fascist dictatorship. If Christian conservatives are so against big government, why would they support such a thing? At least atheist conservatives are consistent with their views and not hypocrites.
