Do you think I should be wary of this person?

At my local shopping center is this guy that is ALWAYS there. No matter what, guaranteed he will be walking around somewhere. He always wears the exact same clothing, with the exact same chains and shoes, everything is the same. We spotted him again today (no surprises there) and he was getting into his car to drive around. He parked next to us and we took down his numberplate - just in case. I mean who knows these days? He might turn out to be a child abductor or something and our information helped find them. Don't call me crazy, it's just really odd. If he can afford a car, surely he has someplace to stay?? It's just really odd.
