How did Christianity liberate women?

I have no idea. Religion had nothing to do with liberation of woman. Feel free to look at how Nuns were treated for centuries, and still are. good luck with that. When suffragettes were protesting for the right for woman to vote, the churches were denouncing them as sinners. I will take great interest in the answers you get here.
