Do men think its their right to leave their wives after menopause & pursue younger women who are still fertile?

Last night I was reading an article that said the reason men cheat so often is because, once a guy's wife go through menopause, her reproductive career is over, and he feels the need to go seek out younger, fertile females. It also said that this is the reason men go through a mid-life crisis; they realize their wives can no longer make children and go out and buy things like a shiny new red convertable to attract young females. Is this supposed to be proof that it is male nature to toss post menopausal women aside and there is no hope is stopping men from cheating on their wives?
